5th Wheels in the name refers to the U-shaped coupling mounted onto the cargo bed of the tow truck. A pin-box on the front of the fifth wheel camping trailer locks onto the fifth wheel coupling on the truck. It’s similar to the device found on over-the-road tractors hauling commercial semi-trailers. They range anywhere from 9,000lbs to 16,000 dry weight. Most are a couples trailer but you do have the select few that have bunks. Systems include electricity, heating, air conditioning, water, and propane gas.

A Travel Trailer is a non-motorized compact home on wheels that you can tow behind your personal vehicle. The Travel Trailer employs a hitch secured to the frame of the tow vehicle along with specialized hardware to make towing safe and easy. The Travel trailer is the most common type of RV. It comes in a wide range of sizes and sleeps up to 10 people. Travel trailers vary in weight from 1,200 to almost 9,000 pounds.
Hybrid's
The Hybrid travel trailer is a cross between a hard-sided travel trailer and a tent camping trailer with ends that pull out to offer more sleeping room. It's lighter, often more affordable and can be towed by many popular family vehicles like mini-vans or SUVs. Most models range in dry weight between 2800-5000 pounds.
